About Me
My name is Timothy J Brooks, but I prefer to go by TJ. I am a twenty-three-year-old from the Midwest. I grew up in Illinois and moved to Missouri in 2013, where I have been living ever since. Over the years, I have moved around the state a bit, attending college and experiencing various other changes in my life. After finishing college, I landed my first full-time position as a Software Developer at Inter-State Studio & Publishing Co. I have been working for the company for about two and a half years now.
Family
I have five siblings (two brothers and three sisters). I am the second youngest out of all my siblings. I was raised by both of my parents who have been happily married for over 25 years. Most of my family roots are from the suburbs of Chicago.
Education
I went to high school at Muriel Williams Battle High School in Columbia, MO from 2014 to 2018 where I graduated as a valedictorian with a class of over 300 students. Afterward, I attended Southwest Baptist University from 2018 to 2021. There, I graduated Summa Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree in computer science and mathematics.
